what to expect:

In this FREE five day online course, Creative Soul Discovery, I invite you on a journey, where you will tap into your own creative energy, learn some exciting new techniques and make some expressive abstract art on a large piece of paper.

We are then going on a treasure hunt. Armed with a viewfinder we will see our art through new eyes as we go searching for the nuggets of gold within it. Once we have uncovered our fragments of treasure we will transform them into a precious book. And here's the best bit - we will be using a brand new technique I've never shared before to make a book we can truly treasure and cherish.

With over 2.5hours of captioned video content I take you through the whole creative process from beginning to end in an easily accessible and easy-to-follow way. You can access Module 1 on the day you sign up and then each module is released daily over the following four days.

Gathering Materials

We will be using a variety of art materials and supplies in our mark making to give an exciting variety of interesting effects, contrasts and marks. As well as learning my tried and tested formula for colour mixing, we learn how to use these tools in novel and unusual ways to create exciting expressive art.

Creating Collage Papers

We will be using our tools to make a delightful selection of lively and vibrant collage papers, using plain and found papers. We go on to fill a large sheet of paper with our carefully selected colour palette, to create a cohesive image where all elements blend seamlessly together in perfect colour harmony.

Unearthing Treasure

Using our trusty viewfinder we will examine the bigger picture. On a journey of creative discovery we will unearth the hidden treasure in our art, gathering our most cherished discoveries and transforming them into a gorgeous book.
